After successfully completing the instructor-led clinical training, you’ll be prepared to sit for the National Certification Exam (NHA).
Requirements:
To work as a certified Electrocardiogram (EKG) Technician in New Jersey, you must fulfill the following requirements:
• Complete an EKG Technician training course approved by the New Jersey Board of Education.
• Successfully complete a competency evaluation through a state-approved school in New Jersey.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Perform 10 live EKG tests.
• This is a hybrid program, combining both online and in-person learning experiences.
