Health Up Training & Services
Online Enrollment Terms & Conditions
Version: Online Final 2026-09-03 v1
1. Application, Approval, and Program Availability
Submitting an application does not guarantee admission or enrollment. Health Up must review and approve the application and required documents. Enrollment remains subject to eligibility requirements, program availability, and completion of the applicable Enrollment Agreement.
2. Health Up and Penn Foster Responsibilities
For students enrolling through Health Up, including applicable Health Up/Penn Foster enrollments, Health Up Training & Services manages the student’s application and enrollment process, collects tuition, administers the student’s Health Up payment arrangement, and handles applicable student cancellations and refunds under the controlling enrollment and refund documents. Students pay Health Up Training & Services. Penn Foster does not issue refunds directly to Health Up students.
Penn Foster provides the applicable online educational program, curriculum, learning platform, academic resources, or related educational services described in the approved program and partnership documents. This educational role does not transfer Health Up’s responsibility for collecting tuition or handling refunds owed to students who enrolled and paid through Health Up.
3. Tuition and the $100 Administrative/Registration Fee
A $100 Administrative/Registration Fee is required after application approval to reserve enrollment in an available program or cohort. The $100 payment is included within the advertised total program tuition, is credited dollar-for-dollar toward the student’s tuition balance, and is not an additional charge above the advertised tuition.
Health Up’s policy is that the $100 Administrative/Registration Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to any mandatory applicable New Jersey cancellation or refund requirement and as provided in the applicable Enrollment Agreement, School Catalog, and refund policy.
4. Payment Options
After approval, an eligible self-pay student selects either Pay Remaining Tuition in Full or Payment Plan through the secure Continue Enrollment portal before proceeding to the $100 Administrative/Registration Fee checkout.
Pay Remaining Tuition in Full: After the $100 Administrative/Registration Fee has been successfully paid and credited, the student pays the exact remaining tuition balance through the secure payment portal.
Payment Plan: Payment 1 is the $100 Administrative/Registration Fee applied toward tuition. The remaining tuition balance is divided into Payments 2–4. Before accepting the plan, the student is shown the specific amount and scheduled date of every payment. By affirmatively accepting the displayed plan, the student authorizes Health Up Training & Services to automatically charge the payment method provided for Payments 2–4 in the specific amounts and on the specific dates displayed before acceptance.
Payment 2 is due no later than one calendar day before the program or cohort start date. Payment 3 is scheduled at approximately the program midpoint and adjusted to an appropriate scheduled instructional day when applicable. Payment 4 is due before the final instructional week begins. The exact dates disclosed and accepted by the student control.
5. Failed Payments and Outstanding Balances
A declined or failed charge does not satisfy a payment obligation and will not be recorded as paid. The student remains responsible for any outstanding balance under the Enrollment Agreement and accepted payment schedule. Health Up may contact the student to resolve a failed payment and may take only those actions permitted by the controlling documents and applicable requirements.
6. Workforce/One-Stop Funding
A Workforce/One-Stop waiver may be applied only by authorized Health Up staff. Students cannot waive their own Administrative/Registration Fee. When staff approves the waiver, no $100 Stripe charge or $100 tuition credit is created, and the student’s payment responsibility follows the approved funding arrangement.
7. Online Access and Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for accurate enrollment information, reliable internet access, a compatible device, an active email address, protecting login credentials, and completing academic and participation requirements described in the applicable program documents. Some programs may include in-person laboratories, clinical work, externships, skills checks, examinations, background checks, health documents, or other requirements.
8. Cancellation, Withdrawal, and Refunds
A student who wishes to cancel or withdraw must notify Health Up in writing. Under the current School Catalog, a student who withdraws within three days of enrollment is eligible for a full refund of the course amount excluding the non-refundable $100 Administrative/Registration Fee. Health Up Training & Services handles any refund due to a student who enrolled and paid through Health Up, including an applicable Health Up/Penn Foster enrollment. The effective cancellation date and refund calculation are determined under the signed Enrollment Agreement, approved School Catalog, approved online-program documents, Health Up refund policy, and mandatory applicable requirements.
9. Books, Examinations, Certification, and Other Costs
Books, supplies, certification or examination fees, clinical costs, and other program-specific charges are governed by the applicable Enrollment Agreement, School Catalog, and approved online-program documents. Students are responsible only for charges disclosed in the controlling program documents.
10. Certification, Licensure, and Employment
Program completion does not guarantee examination eligibility or success, certification, licensure, employment, wages, or job placement. Students remain responsible for meeting requirements imposed by credentialing bodies, licensing authorities, employers, and other third parties.
11. Student Acknowledgment
By accepting these terms, the student confirms that they reviewed these terms and understands that the signed Enrollment Agreement, approved School Catalog, and applicable approved online-program documents control the enrollment relationship. The system records the applicable Terms version and the date and time of acceptance.
